WILLIAM ARMSTRONG LIGHTING DESIGN was established in New York City in 1995 with a commitment to the collaborative process of design and the desire to provide quality professional services. We have over 20 years experience in theatrical lighting design and architectural lighting design. Our work can be seen all over the world. The projects we have designed range greatly in size, from one of the largest construction projects recently completed in Europe, CentrO. Oberhausen, to intimate fashion boutiques and private residences. WALD's recently completed work includes the lighting design for many of the new and renovated GUCCI stores worldwide, including the recently opened New York Flagship store on Fifth Avenue, as well as stores in Chicago, Boston, San Francisco, Houston and Tokyo, Japan. In addition to the GUCCI Flagship store other recently completed projects in New York City include the Yves Saint Laurent flagship store and the Genny Boutique on Madison Avenue; the renovation of Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church; e financeworks, an 80,000 square foot e-business located in the historic Starrett Lehigh building; and numerous residential projects throughout the city. Projects outside of New York include a new entertainment complex in Pescara, Italy; the complete refurbishment of the lighting for the Raffles City shopping center in Singapore; the new wing at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas; and private residences in Philadelphia, Aspen, Boca Raton and Jerusalem.
